Stick it Down DT Call

Stick it Down is having a new DT call in addition to this week's challenge! If you are interested in applying (and you should be, it's a great group of ladies with really fabulous sketches!) all you have to do is play along with this challenge!

The challenge is to pick any sketch from the archives and link up with us by May 26th at 8PM EST.

I chose the double sketch I missed from March since I still had the papers and pictures out on my desk!

LM#188: Dance!

The challenge of Earth Day/Arbor Day at Lasting Memories was a challenge for me!  Then I remembered this picture of my middle girl and her dancing around with the flowers in her hand.

She is always singing and dancing in and around the house (and everywhere we go, really!).  Right now, like so many other little girls, the songs of choice are from Frozen and it's driving her older sister mad!

Other challenges that inspired me:
Little Scrap Pieces: Show it Off: Saturday Linky Party
Red Carpet Studio: The Heat (summer layout!)

Turning 5!

My middle girl is a Barbie freak.  All she wanted for her birthday was her very own Barbie car.  Imagine her face when she got it!

This is my take on the newest double page sketch from Stick it Down.  You have until April 28th at 8PM EST to play, and I hope you do!

The fantastic sketch!

Week 30 of Project Life: Use a Stamp

Stuck On U Sketches challenge blog is just that for me: a challenge. Each project life spread I do for this team makes me go outside my comfort zone - which is fantastic and part of the reason I enjoy DT work so much! However. Stamps. UGH! Or so I thought.

I loved the way the stamp looked on my photo. I stamped it and left it out to dry, which it never did do.  I ended up blotting it very carefully with a kleenex to take the excess ink off.

My second stamp, I just used it to indicate the month on the calendar.  Easy, peasy!

The full deal.

This month's prize info!

You have two weeks to submit to this challenge and all of the submits will be put the random drawing for the sponsored candy that has been sponsored by:

This is much more then just a kit club with exclusive product, you will
love everything they have to offer!
And for one lucky challenge participant for the month
of April you will receive a $30 certificate to the shop!
Now how awesome is that!

Winner will be announced May 9th! Good luck! (mark your calendars)
And much, much thanks to Scrapbook Circle!

Till next time!!

The project life challenge at Stuck on U Sketches this week is to use a top note shape on your spread. If you are like me, you may not know what that shape even is!

Lasting Memories 185: Are You Coming?

Colouring. It's truly something I do not do a lot of.  I actually have a nice set of Prismacolor pencils, so I should really do more. If I was a card maker, I probably would!

This week at Lasting Memories we are asking you to show us your colouring skills!  There are so many digital images for free online if you need a place to start, but there are tonnes of ways to show off your colouring!

I remembered this image that I was given from Dilly Beans and thought it would make a cute addition to my page.

My little one was getting so impatient to go for our bike ride. She kept coming back in the house to say, "hurry" but this time she said, "are you coming???"

Sketch~N~Scrap #54: Gone Fishing!

It is so hard to believe we have entered the fourth month of the year.  While technically spring, we are still very deep in snow here.  My girls were running around the house in their bathing suits this past weekend.  They echo the sentiments of most of the adults, they too, are ready for the snow to be gone!

Since we moved here the summer of 2011, my girls have embraced the winter because of the ice fishing.  It is really great that we are so close to so much water.  In fact, my girls and my husband are going to be building their own shack this summer.  I say their shack because the more they are on the ice, the more time I can have in my cave!  I will go out every so often because it is fun to see their reactions when that bait gets taken!

This is from March Break two years ago, probably the first time my girls had gone ice fishing.

The sketch will be up all month at Sketch N Scrap so come on over and play!

Week 28 of Project Life

Just popping in quickly so that I can share my week 28 spread. I went back to a two page format for this week.

This is for my challenge blog Life in Details. This week we are asking you to celebrate spring and use pastels on your project. I think maybe I was a little liberal with the colour scheme?

You have until April 14th to link up!  You could be our next guest designer!
