and yes, I feel good about it!
I walked into the bathroom and there was one of those black icky spiders on the ceiling. I can't reach the ceiling, so I left to get a broom. He was gone when I came back, and I put the broom away. When I came back to the room, he was sitting on the wall, I got the broom again and I tapped him down. He tried to hide in the garbage pail. I think he knew his time on earth was numbered. I searched for him and found him cowering, yes cowering, under a piece of tissue. I picked him up with a kleenex and tried to teach him to swim. Unfortunately the swirl of the water in the toilet bowl was too much for him and he perished.

My four year old has attitude. Lots and lots of attitude. She can already twist what I say and throw it back at me. For instance, she has been saying "hate" and "I don't care" lately. Those are bad words in our house and I tell her that, and give her other words she can use. The other day she said, "Mom, I bad word my shoes!" I told her that it still wasn't nice to speak that way. She turned around and said, "I don't bad word!"
